GTBR held it’s 2nd Semiannual Plant Manager's Meeting at the Bob Bowers Civic Center in Port Arthur, TX on October 15, 2019.   Twice a year the GTBR presents a Plant Manager's meeting which showcases one of the area's major refining, petrochemical, and chemical industry. Guest Speaker was Jean Algate, Site Director, DOW Sabine River Operations. 

  GTBR held it's monthly Joint Safety Committee meeting on October 9, 2019 at the GTBR office. The guest speakers were Eric Maier and Danielle Hansen with Apex (previously Bureau Veritas) who presented a Powerpoint on Industrial Hygiene (HSE) in the workplace.            

GTBR held it’s September Monthly Meeting at Benton's on September 17, 2019. Guest Speaker was Scott Whalen, Director of Vehicle    Traffic Services (VTS) - Port Arthur United States Coast Guard.  Program Topic was Sabine Neches Waterway; Safety, Security, and Economic Growth.  GTBR appreciates Mr. Whalen speaking at our monthly meeting on such a timely

The Golden Triangle Business Roundtable (GTBR) held its 31st  Annual Contractor Safety Awards Luncheon on August 16, 2022 at the Robert A. “Bob” Bowers Civic Center to recognize and honor this year’s contractor safety award nominees and award recipients. GTBR held it's July Monthly Meeting at Lamar State College Orange - Shahan Events Center on July 16, 2019. Guest Speakers included Dr. Thomas Johnson, President LSCO; Gina Simar, Dean Health, Workforce & Technical Education; Thera Celestine, Director Community & Workforce Education; Captain Chris Horner, Director Maritime Program; Earl Geis, Director Industrial & Process Technology.

GTBR held it's June Monthly Meeting at the Benton's on June 18, 2019. Guest Speakers were Michael White, Emergency Management Coordinator for Jefferson County, Texas and Roger Erickson, Warning Coordination Meteorologist for the National Weather Service - Lake Charles, Louisiana. Topic for the meeting was: "Tropical Storm Season Forecasts; Preparation and Planning".
