Today, the dynamics of Washington, D.C. politics are unprecedented.  All aspects of our nations economic posture, both nationally and internationally are being impacted through legislation targeting energy,  environmental, and trade policies.  Our guest, Renwick Deville is a seasoned strategist who has supported the development and growth of U.S. manufacturing industries from the wellhead to the cargo container.  His message will be to share some candid insights into the politics and process of legislation that could have implications on the future industrial growth in Southeast Texas.

Renwick (Renny) P. Deville, a Principal with Harris, Deville, & Associates has worked on communications issues for more than 30 years, and is nationally recognized as an expert in crisis management, strategic planning, opinion research and issues management.  Renny has actively managed issues such as environmental justice concerns, industrial siting and expansions, the development of crisis communications plans, and the design and implementation of industrial image campaigns.  He has been actively engaged in Washington, D.C. energy, environmental and trade policy development.  Renny has held several state and university positions in the area of energy and environmental policy, including Louisiana State Energy Director and Energy Advisor to the Secretary of Natural Resources.  He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Louisiana State University.
