GTBR October Meeting – Semi-Annual Plant Manager’s Meeting: Jean Algate; Site Director, DOW Sabine River Operations

GTBR held it’s 2nd Semiannual Plant Manager’s Meeting at the Bob Bowers Civic Center in Port Arthur, TX on October 15, 2019.   Twice a year the GTBR presents a Plant Manager’s meeting which showcases one of the area’s major refining, petrochemical, and chemical industry.

Guest Speaker was Jean Algate, Site Director, DOW Sabine River Operations.  Ms. Algate spoke  about the DOW and DuPont merger that recently underwent a reorganization initiative. The DOW, as a world class chemical company, promotes a culture that focuses on their relationship with its employees and their value-added contribution to manufacturing excellence while promoting safety and proactive environmental stewardship.
