Event Description:
The Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present a program on “The State of the Workforce” whereby there will be discussions on the national and local trends that impact our workforce in SETX. You will hear from two panels, one representing education and training – those who are preparing our future workers; and the other, critical employers who are and will be hiring those students.
Jamai Blivin of Innovate+Educate will be our keynote speaker and will moderate a panel discussion on this important topic. Ms. Blivin is Founder and CEO of Innovate+Educate, a non-profit she started in 2009 with a vision for an industry-led board focused on education and workforce strategies to address the significant gaps between supply and demand in both education and workforce.
