“2017 Texas Legislature: Session Recap and Future Forecasts”

Some of the biggest issues facing Senate District 4, which encompasses Jefferson and surrounding counties of Chambers, Harris, Galveston, and Montgomery, are fighting federal overreach, reducing the size of government, securing the border, and meeting for our water and transportation needs.  State Senator Brandon Creighton representing Senate District 4 has a well established tenure in both the Texas House of Representatives and Senate.  He could best be described as an advocate for ….”keeping goverment small, keep taxes low, and keep Washington, DC at bay.”
Senator Creighton has sponsored key legislation addressing Abortion, Annexation Authority of Municipalites, Property Tax Reform  & Relief, History & Heritage Protection Mandates, and Port Authority Financing.  All these issues have a direct impact on the businesses and industries within District 4 and Southeast Texas.   Senator Creighton will share a recap of the 2017 Texas Legislative session along with some projections and forecasts.
