The GTBR July Monthly Meeting was held at the LIT Multi-purpose Center on July 17, 2018. The guest speaker was Kathleen Jackson, Board of Directors; Texas Water Development Board.
Meeting Topic: “Water for Texas: Water for the Future“. Kathleen discussed the role of the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) and the need to develop a wide range of solutions, promising technologies and collaborative partnerships to meet our current and future water needs. These ongoing efforts help ensure Texas maintains a healthy and vibrant economy.
The GTBR appreciates Kathleen Jackson visiting LIT and speaking at our event this month. Also many thanks to Dr. Lonnie Howard, LIT President, and the LIT staff for their wonderful accommodations and support of the GTBR.
