On August 18, 2020 GTBR held it’s monthly membership meeting at the Holiday Inn & Suites – Beaumont. Guest Speakers were Adam Jack, Director Transportation, Planning, and Development; TxDOT – Beaumont Division, and Sarah Dupre, Public Information Officer; TxDOT – Beaumont Division. Sarah spoke on the importance of safe driving on our highways, (i.e. speeding, driving under the influence, and texting/talking while driving). Adam’s presentation was on the construction and expansion of bridges and highways in the Golden Triangle now and in the future.
