The Wage and Hour Division of the U.S. Department of Labor is bringing training to you! Join us for a one day event focused on helping employers in the construction industry improve compliance with the Davis Bacon Act.

 

Hurricane Harvey affected so many communities in Texas. As federal funding is made available for rebuilding efforts, it’s important to know how to comply with prevailing wages and other requirements. Come and learn more about the Wage and Hour Division, its enforcement of federal labor laws, and common violations to avoid in federal construction contracts. Private contractors, federal, state and local contracting agencies, unions, and workers from the construction industry are encouraged to attend this free event.
